Each year we invite one distinguished member from Mongolian communities in the US to attend our event to speak on a topic that is current and inspiring in hopes to spark an idea or action in our attendees. In the past, we have brought Ms. U. Delgerjargal who is a PhD candidate in Politics and Public Administration at the University of Wisconsin and American Museum of Natural History Paleontologist Ms. M.Bolortsetseg. Talks of these distinguished honorees were very well received and appreciated by the attendees. In accordance with this years theme of Entrepreneurship and Start-Up for Mongolian American Career Fair 2016, we are inviting an exemplary entrepreneur to represent the Information Technology sector of the Silicon Valley.
One of the highlights of MNG Summit is the open panel discussion with distinguished guests. In the past years, our guests shared their experiences on how to successfully start their career paths in the USA. In contrast, our panel discussion this year will focus on how to start your own business and become an employer in the USA and beyond. Our guest speakers will be seasoned entrepreneurs who have started their own businesses or invented new products that have revolutionized their respected fields of practice.
If you want to know how to market yourself through your CV and resume, this is the workshop for you. In addition to your hard-earned diploma, a simple handshake, dress code, and word choices can easily influence your future career path and your chance to get hired. Therefore, we are offering this workshop with the help of a professional to assist you on how to prepare yourself for job interviews and how to effectively express yourself, attract your potential employers’ attention, and ultimately receive the offer letter.
USA is in arguably one of the leading countries in the world in terms of economy, job market, and education. We travel thousands of miles, spend valuable amount of time and resource to be able to go to school and get education. Therefore, it is definitely worth going the extra mile to work and earn some professional experience at this global level before returning back to your home country. The bridge to being able to work, while being a foreign student, is work authorization and we hope to share some advice and tips on how to walk this bridge successfully. Come to our workshop and learn about F1 - CPT/OPT and H1B visa!
